Surf Girl Canvas Challenge 13

Hi there crafty friends and followers...Its that time again!!!!

A New Challenge is on over at

It's a "Anything Goes with a twist to use chipboard, stencils or flowers" theme

For my DT project I chose to create a Canvas using stencils and Chipboard ...

Hope you like it!!

Above I was using Modelling paste and a Bubble Stencil for my background

I chose a Surfer Girl in chipboard and I cut out a palm tree in cardboard

Painted the Palm tree and added Modelling paste to build up the sandy beach

Wasn't happy with the palm so went over it with modelling paste to build up ridges on the trunk and texture on the leaves
I used a stencil for the wave white caps 

Adding large flat Shells to form rocky out crops and using tiny shells to emphasise that they are on rocks ...

An anchor sticking out of the sand... A crab and a boat! Glitter at the wave crests to define the waves
I used a product called Snow I purchased off Ebay to Create the White Clouds!

The End Result !! And sealed with varnish!
