Hi there hope everyones had time for some craft!!!
In-between Gardening Fishing and Drs Appointments sometimes I struggle to make the time ...
But this last week Ive found a project to do which combined gardening and craft!!
My project below is my DT Entry for Challenge 12 over at
It's an 'Anything Goes Theme' with a twist being either chipboard, stencils or http://www.papertoleaustralia.com/toppers-die-cut-push-out
So head over to their Blog and check out the Challenge rules and prize on offer -
(AU $30-$35 value of new release product!!)
For my DT Project I chose to use chipboard - A seagull the swallow and a scroll...
I Hope you enjoy my creation and leave a comment please!!!
I re purposed a Fruit bowl we had that was too big for our kitchen table - it was just a dust collector on top of the fridge . Of course its shape screamed BOAT so then my creation began.... |
First a Flag ... |
Hand drawn flag on MDF ...two screws to attach to pole and a coat of primer |
I mixed different paints on a roller to create the background then the fun began... |
Netting for effect and ropes for stability |
Lined with paperbark |
Then added soil, plants, white pebbles and shells... |
A coat of varnish to protect the flag ... |
I will be entering this project into these Challenges...
